Road illumination: Provides focused light for nighttime driving (low beam for city roads, high beam for highways) to spot hazards up to 100 meters ahead. The reflector bowl ensures light stays on the road (not in oncoming drivers’ eyes) to avoid glare.
Visibility to others: Makes the Z300 visible to other cars, cyclists, and pedestrians in dark or foggy conditions—reducing the risk of collisions.
Styling consistency: Matches the Z300’s original front-end design (color, shape, and lens texture) to maintain the car’s factory look—aftermarket lamps often clash with the vehicle’s aesthetic.
Fits: All Zotye Z300 variants (matches front-end dimensions, electrical connections, and mounting points; confirm via VIN).
Won’t Fit:
Other Zotye models: Like Z500, T600, or SR7—different front-end designs, lamp sizes, or electrical setups (lamp won’t attach or work properly).
Non-Zotye vehicles: Even if the shape looks similar, their bumper mounting holes and electrical plugs differ (no functional fit—light won’t turn on or aligns poorly).
Zotye Z300’s right side: Left and right headlamps are mirror images (different wiring positions and light patterns)—this part is for the left only (right side needs a different part number).
Prep: Turn off the Z300’s engine and disconnect the battery (avoids electrical shocks). Open the hood to access the back of the left headlamp assembly.
Remove old lamp: Unplug the wiring harness from the back of the lamp (press the tab to release). Remove the 2–3 screws holding the lamp to the bumper/frame. Pull the old lamp forward out of the bumper.
Install new lamp: Align 4121010RA-A01 with the bumper’s mounting holes. Secure it with screws (tighten gently—over-tightening cracks the housing). Reconnect the wiring harness until it clicks.
Test: Reconnect the battery. Turn on the headlights (check high/low beams) to ensure the lamp works. Adjust the light angle if needed (use the small screw on the lamp’s back to tilt the beam up/down).
Clean the lens weekly: Wipe the front lens with a soft cloth and glass cleaner to remove dirt, bug guts, or road grime (dirty lenses reduce light output by 30–50%).
Replace bulbs annually: Even if bulbs work, their brightness fades over time—use Z300-recommended halogen/LED bulbs to maintain performance.
Check for water leaks: If moisture builds up inside the lamp (foggy lens), inspect the housing for cracks—seal small cracks with silicone or replace the lamp if damaged.
Inspect wiring quarterly: Check the harness for frayed wires or loose connections (damaged wiring causes flickering or bulb burnout).
