2847000
Coolant temperature control: Blows air through the radiator’s fins to transfer heat from the coolant to the outside air—lowers coolant temp so it can reabsorb engine heat effectively.
On-demand activation: Triggered by the H30’s temperature sensor (via the ECU) only when needed—avoids unnecessary power use (saves battery) and ensures the engine stays at the optimal operating temperature.
Idle/stop cooling: Keeps working even after the engine is turned off (for a short time) if coolant is still too hot—prevents residual heat from damaging engine parts.
Fits These: All Dongfeng H30 variants (matches radiator size, electrical system, and mounting points—confirm via VIN).
Won’t Fit These:
Other Dongfeng models: Like FMC SX5, AX3, or Dignity ix5—different radiator sizes, fan blade counts, or motor power (fan won’t cool the engine or fit the bay).
Non-Dongfeng vehicles: Even if the shape looks similar, their electrical connectors and airflow needs differ (no functional cooling—engine overheats).
Dongfeng H30 with modified radiators: Aftermarket radiators may have different fin spacing or size—original fan can’t blow enough air (reduces cooling capacity).
Prep: Turn off the H30’s engine and disconnect the battery (avoids electrical shocks). Remove the plastic cover (if any) over the radiator fan.
Remove old fan: Unplug the wiring harness from the fan motor (press the tab to release). Remove the bolts that hold the fan shroud to the radiator (use a screwdriver or wrench). Pull the old fan and shroud out as one unit.
Install new fan: Align 2847000’s shroud with the radiator’s mounting holes. Secure it with bolts (tighten to Dongfeng’s torque specs—don’t over-tighten, as it may crack the shroud). Reconnect the wiring harness until it clicks.
Test: Reconnect the battery. Start the engine and let it run until the coolant heats up (the fan should turn on automatically). Check for unusual noises (sign of misalignment) and ensure the engine temperature gauge stays in the normal range.
Installation (30–45 mins, DIY-friendly) needs battery disconnection and torque-compliant bolting. Maintain by monthly blade cleaning, quarterly wiring checks; replace if noisy/fails to activate. Original parts avoid aftermarket risks (weak airflow, poor ECU sync
