Egyptian client case

The client is a leading enterprise in Cairo, Egypt, deeply engaged in the automotive aftermarket. Its business covers parts supply, local assembly and supporting services, as well as a distribution network in North Africa. Relying on the logistics advantages of Alexandria and Port Said, its services reach North African and East African countries such as Libya, Tunisia and Sudan, covering a consumer market of over 1.5 billion people. In recent years, Chinese brand automobiles have accelerated their penetration in the Egyptian market. Chery, through its assembly cooperation with local automaker GB Auto, has achieved localized production of "Made in Egypt". From January to August 2025, the sales of Chery Tiggo 7/8 series in Egypt increased by 320% year-on-year, becoming the mainstream choice in the local mid-to-high-end SUV market. The market share and assembly demand have risen simultaneously.

Customers who keenly seized this market opportunity encountered multiple difficulties when seeking stable suppliers: Firstly, the Egyptian automotive market has a dual-track model of "imported complete vehicles + local assembly", and ordinary parts are difficult to adapt to the interface standards of local assembly lines, often resulting in installation deviations. Secondly, the humid climate along the Nile River combined with the sandy and dusty environment in the western deserts makes it easy for accessories to suffer from problems such as metal rust and rubber aging, making it difficult to guarantee their durability. Thirdly, the ESMA certification process in Egypt is complex. Accessories provided through the original channels often cannot enter the local assembly system due to the lack of certification. Through the offline connection at Automotive Expo Egypt, the customer finally established contact with us and explicitly stated that they urgently needed a batch of customized parts suitable for the local assembly models of Chery Tiggo 7/8. This includes sand-proof and moisture-proof dual-effect air filters, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant brake pads, suspension system components compatible with local assembly lines, and highly compatible automotive batteries. It is also required to provide complete ESMA certification documents and a delivery guarantee from the factory to the Cairo assembly plant within 30 days.

Outstanding products earn trust

In response to the customized demands of our customers, our team promptly initiated a "localized adaptation" service plan: Firstly, we collaborated with the technical team of Chery's Egyptian assembly plant to specifically optimize the installation interfaces of local models, providing accessory samples with customized installation clips. After three rounds of real vehicle tests, the compatibility was confirmed. Secondly, in response to the unique climate of Egypt, anti-corrosion coatings are applied to metal parts, and high and low-temperature resistant rubber materials are used to make seals. At the same time, durability test data under 45℃ high temperature and 80% humidity conditions are marked to ensure that the accessories can adapt to both environments. Finally, start the ESMA certification process three months in advance, assign a dedicated person to follow up on the review of the certification documents, and ultimately provide a complete certification report and batch traceability documents to address the customer's compliance concerns. In terms of logistics, we collaborated with our customs clearance partners at Port Said to develop an integrated process of "factory production - port customs clearance - inland transportation", and ultimately completed the delivery from the domestic factory to the assembly plant in Cairo two days ahead of schedule.

One month after the goods were put into assembly and use, we received a written feedback from the customer: "This batch of customized accessories fully meets the local assembly requirements!" The anti-sand and moisture-proof filter has achieved remarkable results in deserts and areas along the Nile River. The wear rate of brake pads in the congested traffic conditions of Cairo has decreased by 20%. All components have successfully passed the ESMA certification audit. After being adapted to the local assembly line, the production efficiency has increased by 15%. The rapid delivery has ensured that our assembly orders with GB Auto are completed on schedule, laying a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between the two sides.

This recognition not only validates our business philosophy of "customized adaptation and compliance guarantee", but also highlights the competitiveness of Chinese auto parts in the local market of Egypt. Relying on a deep understanding of the assembly industry standards, climate environment and certificationsystem in Egypt, our products not only meet the direct demands of customers, but also help Chery increase its share in the local assembly market in Egypt, build a cooperation bridge for the subsequent expansion of the distribution network in North Africa, and promote the deep integration of China's automotive industry chain and Egypt's manufacturing industry.
