J15 6201010
Passenger Access: Provides a wide, easy opening for rear passengers to enter/exit—with a hinge system that holds the door securely at different angles (no sudden closing).
Crash Safety: The high-strength steel panel and reinforced frame absorb and distribute impact energy during side collisions—reducing cabin deformation and protecting rear passengers.
Weather/Noise Sealing: The edge gasket creates a tight seal against the body pillar—blocking rain, wind, and road noise from entering the cabin (keeps the interior dry and quiet).
Component Integration: Acts as a “base” for mounting the power window (motor and glass), door lock (manual/electric), exterior/interior handles, and side mirror (if applicable)—ensuring all these features work smoothly.
Fits: All Chery X22 Pro variants (matches body dimensions, hinge positions, and component mounting points; confirm via VIN—note differences between manual/electric window models).
Won’t Fit:
Other Chery models: Like Tiggo 7 Pro, Arrizo 8, or FX—different body sizes, door shapes, or hinge layouts (door won’t attach or align with the body).
Non-Chery vehicles: Even if the shape looks similar, their body pillars, hinge spacing, and component positions differ (no secure fit, leading to gaps or non-working features).
Chery X22 Pro’s left side: Left and right rear doors are mirror images (different hinge positions and handle placements)—this part is for the right only (left side needs a different part number).
Prep: Disconnect the X22 Pro’s battery (to avoid electrical shorts). Remove the old door’s interior trim, window glass, and electrical components (window motor, lock actuator) to reuse them.
Remove Old Door: Unbolt the hinges from the body pillar (have a helper hold the door—it’s heavy!). Disconnect any wiring harnesses (for power features) and lift the old door off.
Install New Door: Align J15 6201010 with the body’s hinge mounts (use shims if needed for perfect alignment). Bolt the hinges tight, reconnect wiring harnesses, and reinstall the window, lock, and trim.
Test: Check if the door opens/closes smoothly, locks securely, and seals tightly (no wind noise). Adjust the hinge alignment if there are gaps.
Weekly Cleaning: Wipe the door’s outer panel with a soft cloth and car wash soap—remove dirt and road salt to prevent paint damage. Clean the door handle (inside and out) to avoid sticky locks.
Monthly Inspection: Check the weather seal for cracks or gaps (replace if damaged—prevents water leaks). Test the window and lock operation (lubricate the lock with silicone spray if it’s stiff).
Dent/Scratch Repair: Fix small dents or scratches quickly (use touch-up paint for minor chips)—prevents rust from forming on the steel panel.
Hinge Lubrication: Every 6 months, apply lithium grease to the door hinges—keeps the door opening/closing smoothly (avoids squeaking).
